The Buffalo Wings operated pro teams in RHI in 1997 and 1999 and in Major League
Roller Hockey in 1998. It is now the Club's intent to completely man it's Professional
Inline Hockey Association (PIHA) semi-pro team solely with players who have come
up through the ranks of the Buffalo Wings organization. The
Buffalo Roller Hockey Club, LLC was founded in September, 1996 by Frances Ann
Edmonston and Jason Klein upon their purchase of Roller Hockey International's
(RHI) Empire State Cobras to create the Buffalo Wings roller hockey organization.
The
Buffalo Wings strive for a highly professional vertically integrated inline hockey
entity with a complete line of roller hockey offerings for participants and spectators
of all ages and both genders. The
Buffalo Wings' programs include camps and clinics, house leagues (BWRHL), Nike-sponsored
elite programs, as well as high school, college, junior, and pro teams. |
